Trustful Authentication and Key Exchange Scheme

Having finished my internship in the Networks department of TELECOM SudParis, I have decided to post a screencast of the “proof of concept” application for my project, called Trustful Authentication and Key Exchange Scheme (TAKES).

The main goal of TAKES is to perform authentication and key exchange in ad-hoc networks, with no need for a trusted authority or access to any infrastructure-based network. In other words, the objective is to trustfully associate a person with his/her communicating device (e.g. notebook, PDA, smartphone), the IP address of the device and a public key belonging to the person.

A public repository has been created on Gitorious, to store the source files for the application. If you want to check it out, you can access it here.
